ILA 79th Biennial Conference, Kyoto 2020 (Online)

Thank you all!

On behalf of the Organizing Committee for the International Law Association’s 79th biennial conference in Kyoto (online), I would like to thank all the participants for their great contributions to the conference. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the conference was a great success thanks to the high-quality presentations and the open and constructive discussions held among participants with diverse backgrounds during the conference, which culminated in the adoption of seven resolutions at the closing plenary. After participating in the conference, I am now more convinced than before that our work is extremely important and valuable for the rapidly developing and evolving international community. We look forward to seeing all of you again in the next biennial conference in Lisbon in 2022.
Masahiko Asada
Chair of the Organizing Committee
